Ignore my advice.

I am a man. I am stupid by design. Women are not just the fairer sex, you are the smarter sex and the sexier sex.

You are curvy, smooth, clever, and you smell nice.

We are brawny, hairy, angular, silly, and we stink.

We are built for the hunt and built for war. Because one man can impregnate many women, fewer of us are necessary for the continuation of the species. We are expendable, you are not.

We don’t talk (chatty hunters are hungry hunters) and so we don’t share ideas as much. We don’t discuss our problems, and we have a lot of problems worth discussing.

You have highly developed nurturing urges, you are inclusive and loving, clever and caring. You maintain social order in ways men cannot. Matriarchal cultures are a testament to your positive influence. Men are cancerous, just look at religion – it is patriarchal and sadistic.

You know what it means to be feminine, you are gorgeous and you are wise. If us men weren’t so adept at driving women to insanity, these letters would be redundant.

You are probably suspicious of this as you read it, so weary you are, being wary of men. Please allow yourself to hope that men aren’t all as bad as each other.

And we aren’t all your dad.

I am sorry for our capacity to drive you to despair. Please resist the urge.

Please be confident, serene, capable and educated, that you may rescue us from ourselves. Enchant us with your gaze, entrance us with your voice, excite us with your touch, transform us.

Teach us how to be inclusive and accommodating, calm us, control us and distract us from our darker urges.

You do not need my advice, it is I who needs yours.
